April Market Insight

April’s data for Condos shows a significant uptick in average sold price by more than 7% from the previous month’s data. Single-Family Homes show an increase of 1% over the previous month’s data.

Interestingly, the demand for Condos appears to be increasing where current sellers are achieving nearly 100% of their original list price for the beginning of this Spring market. Conversely, purchasers of Single-Family Homes have been able to negotiate more than 10% off the original list price of the homes that were purchased last month.

If you are planning to buy or sell this Spring, having the correct agent to assist in negotiating strategy is imperative. Real estate is an investment and aligning with a properly trained real estate investment advisor is critical in achieving maximum profitability. Prospect Equities agents are rigorously trained in BATNA negotiation and real estate investment analysis.

What are your thoughts on buying or selling your home in the current economic landscape?
