Prospect Equities® (PE) was founded in the year
2000 as a full service real estate company offering brokerage and
consulting services in residential and commercial real estate, apartment
rentals, business brokerage, and builder/developer representation.
PE started in a small office in Lockport, IL, a southwest suburb of Chicago and was started by founder, Richard M. Killian as a one-man operation facilitating Mr. Killian's commercial real estate transactions. By 2002, PE started to grow by hiring agents and expanding into a second office location. Within the first five years, PE had grown to several hundred real estate agents and five office locations in Illinois.
By 2007, PE grew to a second state (New York), and started procuring international business, mainly Chinese investors into the US. In the wake of the great recession, Prospect Equities® expanded into a leasing company to answer the call of the economy at the time. The PE concept grew, and founder Richard M. Killian decided to develop a franchise model as his concept proved to be "recession-proof". By 2010, Prospect Equities® began to award franchises nationally. Currently, most of the Prospect Equities® locations are corporate-owned outlets.
Our reach has grown into strategic markets where demand for investment properties, secondary homes, and value-add properties are predominant. Our analysts study market trends and match international investors with opportunity. Yes, most of our agents handle day-to-day residential real estate transactions, but our entreAgents (a highly skilled, multilingual, and specially trained PE agent) handles investor clients from across the globe. We have positioned our offices in America's most influential markets to handle investor opportunity in Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
PE hosts the idea of helping both real estate professionals and our clients with a unique approach to sales and leasing through our proprietary Customer Strategy System (CSS) as well as our extensive market research.
